Who we are
ShopClerk AI, LLC (“ShopClerk AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Massachusetts limited liability company based in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. We build Camp Clerk, an AI enrollment assistant for summer camp operators. This policy explains what information we collect through shopclerk.ai and the Camp Clerk product, and how we use it.
Information we collect
We collect information in a few different ways:
- Information you give us directly — for example, your name and email when you contact us, or business and contact information you provide when you sign up for or use Camp Clerk.
- Mobile phone numbers for SMS notifications — if you are a Camp Clerk team member, you may choose to provide your own mobile number and opt in to receive text notifications about new leads. This number is only collected when you enter it yourself and check the consent box — it is never entered on your behalf by someone else.
- Usage information — standard technical information about how you interact with our website (such as pages visited), collected through basic web analytics.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
- To operate and improve the Camp Clerk service.
- To send service-related communications, including the SMS and email lead notifications you’ve opted into.
SMS / text messaging data
If you opt in to receive text notifications from Camp Clerk, we use your mobile number solely to deliver those notifications. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. You can stop these messages at any time by replying STOP to any text, or by unchecking the SMS toggle in your Camp Clerk account settings. For help, reply HELP or contact us at [email protected]. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate Camp Clerk —for example, our email and SMS delivery providers, and our hosting infrastructure — under obligations to keep it confidential and use it only to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.
Cookies and analytics
Our website may use basic cookies or similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site. This information is aggregated and is not used to build advertising profiles or sold to third parties.
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
- Opt out of SMS notifications anytime — reply STOP or update your settings in the Camp Clerk dashboard.
- Unsubscribe from email using the link in any email we send.
